Teaching Philosophy
“My role as a teacher is to guide my students so that they can gain their own sense of understanding of the cello and find their own unique voice as a cellist. I do this by providing my students with the tools they need to play the cello both sustainably and successfully for the rest of their lives. Another point of education which I find vital is that of physical aspects of playing as they relate to healthy body use. This helps in cultivating a sustainable and injury free method of playing cello. Being a cellist is an amazing and educational part of my life, I hope to guide others to their own version of this experience.”
